Scott Taylor

Bigfoot Research Organization Investigator

I have always been interested in the question of Bigfoot. I remember when the Patterson-Gimlin film was relatively new. I was raised in Northwest Oregon and have hunted deer and elk since I was 12, and never gave much thought to sasquatches being there.  After living for a time in New Mexico and Arizona, we finally got back “Home” to the Pacific Northwest in 1990.

I had my first sasquatch encounter in October 2005 while deer hunting, which was quite a surprise and very upsetting. I spent the next few months studying everything I could about them as a way to deal with my fear. I found the BFRO website, and decided to go on an expedition. I loved it.

We went to the Washington Cascades 2006. I met so many people who are now great friends. The next year, I did the Oregon and Utah expeditions. Then 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2012 I went on Washington Cascades and Olympics expeditions.

In 2013 I was co-organizer of the Washington Olympics expedition. I have seen five more sasquatches, and had even more interactions.  I became a BFRO Investigator in 2006.  I have conducted or been a part of  over 130 investigations. I am currently studying four habituation sites. This is where the most learning occurs. .
